Every year Interfreight expands and opens new and new countries and routes for itself. The name of our company consists of two parts:
Inter – International, based on fraternal union of nations.
Freight - freight charge paid for the transportation of goods or the use of a ship. The amount of freight is fixed in the contract of carriage by sea depending on the weight of the load or per unit of volume. In case of payment for using a vessel, the freight is defined as a charge for haul or stipulated time, that gives grounds to consider it as a kind of rent. FREIGHT under the terms of the contract may be paid in full when signing the bill of lading (sea waybill) or in two payments: upon signing the bill of lading and in port of discharge when receiving the cargo (before or after unloading). The term FREIGHT is also used in air carriage.
